Throughout the years, our doctors have committed themselves to providing the highest level of care so they can create smiles that will last a lifetime.
The Early Years
Our story began in 1968 when Dr. Duren (right) opened Duren Orthodontics in Longview, TX. When Dr. Sherman (left) joined the practice in 1980, they rebranded as Duren & Sherman Orthodontics, which became one of the most successful orthodontic partnerships of their time. Today, both men are retired and we thank them for their commitments to treating patients with respect and always being available to serve their needs.
Our Doctors Today
After Dr. Duren retired, Dr. Carroll Sherman partnered with his son, Dr. Darrell Sherman, and together rebranded as Sherman & Sherman Orthodontics. In 2008, Dr. Patrick Briscoe, whose father was a general dentist, joined the practice to form Sherman Sherman & Briscoe Orthodontics. After Dr. Carroll Sherman retired, the practice became Sherman & Briscoe Orthodontics. Today, our team carries on the commitments to respect and availability upon which our practice was founded.
